This Veito heater is a very light carbon bodied heater that is designed to be wall mounted at 1.8 M or more above ground level. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically depending on where it will sit.
The first thing that struck me about this when I received it was the weight. It really is incredibly light at just over 2kg. Having had big old metal heaters I was expecting it to be several times heavier. This weight and the small sleek height makes for easy mounting though needing just two wall brackets (with screws and plugs - all included).
The heater itself is an infrared heater and is designed to be highly efficient, ensuring maximum heat output for the energy it consumes.
It outputs between 1KW and 2.5 KW and this can be easily adjusted with the included remote control without needing to touch the heater itself (which does get very warm as advised in the instruction and as expected). Our set-up and test has been in a porch space between house and garage where we're often coming and going and where it gets very cold. In the recent mild evenings though at 8 degrees this was more than warm enough at it's lowest setting and positively roasting at it's top.
Overall this is an impressive heater. It is light and efficient and waterproof. It isn't the cheapest though because of this but you need to pay more to get this kind of outdoor heater and you are getting a quality heater for your money.

I'm really pleased with this heater. It is smart looking and easy to set up. It puts out an impressive amount of heat and has plenty of adjustment opportunities so you can fine tune it to your own requirements.
The unit is a smart and futuristic design, and complete with fixing brackets to make installation easy. It can be used vertically or horizontally, and it simply plugs into an ordinary 13 amp socket (UK) without the need for fused units or other additional electrical hokey-pokey.
Once up it puts out a good solid wall of heat. It can be adjusted to a series of pre-set outputs (in Kw) - ranging from 1Kw to 2.5Kw. In addition you can also programme it in degrees, from 15c to 30c, if that suits your needs better.
It also has a timer to shut it off, ranging from 1 hour to 9 hours, so you can be sure that you don't leave it on - heating up the daisies - after that particularly strenuous garden party or barbecue.
I think it is a better bet than a gas heater for a patio, as it pumps out less in the way of greenhouse gases, if that is a consideration.
It does say it is waterproof, which will be a good thing as I intend leaving it outside on my patio permanently!

A top of the range patio or indoor heater (suitable for conservatories ect)....
Quite easy to install on an indoor or an outdoor wall.
The heater is fully weather proof and is very sleek and stylish - plus the remote control for turning the unit on and off and adjusting the temperature is extremely useful.
I am not too good at the technical stuff - but we fitted it yesterday on the patio and it is providing great heat and what i like is it is super quiet!
